Ken Garff Automative Honolulu, HI is seeking an Automotive Shipping/Receiving Clerk to supervise and coordinate shipping and receiving activities. Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience in a dealership position is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to interpret vendor catalogs.
• Ability to use the parts department computer system, calculator, motor vehicle, tier-lift and hand trucks.
• Ability to use mechanical tools such as crimpers, pliers, wrenches, and tape measure.

Responsabilités

• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Count, weigh, or measure items on shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Determine method of shipment using knowledge of routes and rates.
• Affix shipping labels or stencil identifying information on cartons.
• Assemble containers and pack items with spacers and padding.
• Operate tier-lift or hand trucks to move shipments to storage or work areas.
• Receive damaged goods and coordinate with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials.
