Automotive Parts Shipper (Maintenance)

The Fred Beans Parts Distribution Center is looking for a shipper/receiver!

Schedule: Monday Through Friday!

What you'll do:

1. Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment.
2. Count, weigh, or measure items on shipments; verify information against invoices, orders, and other records.
3. Determine the method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
4. Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeled.
5. Maintain receiving and shipping records, including returned parts records.
6. Unpack and examine incoming shipments; reject damaged items; record shortages; and communicate with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
7. Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications.
8. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
