Job summary

AutoZone in Boise, Idaho, is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers with parts selection, answering questions, and promoting products. You will help maintain inventory, support store operations, and contribute to sales goals.

The role requires flexible scheduling, physical ability to lift merchandise, and enthusiasm for automotive parts. ASE certification is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Automotive knowledge preferred.
• Exceptional communication in English and Spanish.
• Experience in automotive retail desired.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to maintain a motivated store environment.
• Help drive sales and meet store performance metrics through product recommendations.
• Restock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and follow POS procedures and loss prevention policies.
• Maintain safety and process adherence; use PPE as required.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with parts, tools, and promotions.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to read codes and suggest solutions when appropriate.
