Job summary

Aesop Auto LLC seeks a diligent Parts Puller to identify, locate, and remove automotive parts from damaged or salvaged vehicles at our Goldsboro, NC yard. This hourly, non-exempt role supports inventory accuracy and customer service by delivering quality parts.

Responsibilities include heavy equipment operation, parts inspection, and maintaining a safe work environment. Prior auto repair or mechanical experience is preferred and a forklift certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of automotive repair or mechanical experience preferred.
• Forklift certificate preferred.
• Ability to drive pickup trucks or vans and operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to disassemble vehicles and remove parts.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must be able to work effectively alone or with others in a team environment.
• Must be able to work collaboratively across functions.
• Must be a self-starter with the demonstrated ability to meet timelines and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remove parts from vehicles using hand and power tools.
• Inspect parts for quality before removal from vehicles.
• Part cleaning with water/soap or degreaser to remove grime.
• Notify sales team of damaged parts with details.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Operate heavy equipment to reposition vehicles as needed.
