Job summary

Pick Your Part in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Retail Parts Puller to assist customers by locating and retrieving automotive parts for walk-in retail sales. You will work with the Sales team to fulfill part requests, ensure accuracy, and support timely customer service.

This role involves pulling orders, using hand and power tools, labeling parts, packing for delivery or pickup, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced yard or warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive, salvage yard, or parts pulling experience preferred.
• Ability to identify vehicle makes, models, and parts.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales to prioritize and fulfill customer part requests.
• Locate and retrieve automotive parts accurately for retail customers.
• Communicate order updates and delays with Sales and Dispatch.
• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and teamwork.
• Pull work orders and verify part accuracy before removal.
• Use hand and power tools to remove parts from vehicles safely.
• Prepare parts for delivery or customer pickup.
• Label parts for destination and inventory accuracy.
• Complete paperwork and documentation for parts and orders.
• Move safely through yard/warehouse while locating inventory.
• Follow safety policies and PPE usage.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with additional yard or warehouse duties.
