Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Peoria, IL seeks a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert automotive parts knowledge and exceptional DIY customer service in-store and by phone. You will handle advanced store functions, source from multiple channels, and maintain inventory accuracy.

You will operate store systems, support DIY services such as battery installs and wiper replacements, and perform opening/closing duties as a Key Holder. Strong communication and sales skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
