Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts. The role emphasizes high-level customer service, DIY service execution, and inventory vigilance in a full-time, in-store capacity.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and ASE certification is preferred. The position supports advanced sourcing and diagnostics for DIY customers, with opportunities to lead and improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of store systems and advanced automotive parts knowledge.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with DIY services.
• Experience with sourcing from special orders and multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
