Job summary

A leading auto parts retailer is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in State College, Centre County. The ideal candidate will possess advanced automotive knowledge, manage customer interactions, and meet sales objectives. Responsibilities include managing inventory and ensuring high service standards. This full-time role requires 3-5 years of experience in automotive parts and effective communication skills. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing.

Skills

Working knowledge of automotive systems

Diagnostic ability

Friendly communication

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends

Education

Valid driver's license

ASE Certification Preferred
