Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert parts knowledge and store systems proficiency for DIY customers. You’ll help locate parts, perform battery installations and other DIY services, and drive sales while upholding store standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certification is preferred. This full-time, on-site position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Proficiency with store systems and parts lookup tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
