Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide GAS2 selling, expert parts knowledge, and DIY service support in our store. The role emphasizes advanced identification, troubleshooting, and sourcing from multiple channels, with full-time hours and strong customer service expectations.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
