Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts sourcing at our store. The role requires deep knowledge of automotive systems, parts identification, and proficient use of store systems to assist customers in person and over the phone.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable performing services such as battery installations and wiper replacements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and assembly procedures, and to use basic math

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Fulfill key holder duties: task assignment, safety, opening/closing responsibilities
• Assist in inventory processes including stocking, cycle counts, and back stock
• Ensure store cleanliness and proper presentation of displays and parts
