Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert parts knowledge and exceptional service to DIY customers in our stores.

You will support advanced store systems, diagnose simple automotive issues, and assist customers with parts lookup and special orders, while maintaining store appearance and safety. The role requires 3–5 years in automotive parts, proven sales ability, and a valid driver's license; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience handling customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Perform DIY services: battery tests, wiper installs.
• Maintain high customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder duties: tasks, safety, opening/closing.
• Assist in inventory: counts, back stock.
• Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms.
• Provide DIY services including battery installs and testing.
