Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Roseville, CA seeks an Automotive Parts Manager to lead the dealership's Parts department and support the Reconditioning Manager. You will oversee operations, coordinate with service techs, and ensure timely parts delivery for vehicle reconditioning.

The role requires strong knowledge of automotive mechanics, inventory systems, and data entry. You will manage stock levels, process warranties/returns, and contribute to department reporting and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry or dealership operations.
• Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and parts functions.
• Strong spreadsheet and basic data-entry skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and ordering processes.
• Proven ability to analyze parts data and support efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Parts department operations at the dealership.
• Coordinate parts with Service Technicians for vehicle reconditioning.
• Order parts from suppliers based on requests from Reconditioning and Technicians.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts to ensure accessibility and proper storage.
• Maintain inventory records and perform counts and reconciliations.
• Process warranties and parts returns; manage stocking levels and reporting.

Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is looking for anAutomotive PartsManager to join our team at our dealership in Roseville, CA. OurPartsManagerwillassistthe Reconditioning Manager and oversee the Parts department.

What You Will Do:

• Oversee the Auto Parts operations for the dealership
• Interact with the Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning
• Order parts from suppliers based on the Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests
• Receive, unpack, and store parts inappropriate storageareas so they are readily available when needed
• Takes inventory andmaintainsrecords of parts received
• Process parts warranties and partsreturnsas necessary
• Maintain stocking levels
• Reporting when needed and as appropriate

What We're Looking For:

• Automotive industry experience
• Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
• Strong computer knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and inventory systems
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skillsrequired
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to take ownership of the details, large and small
• Decision-making thatdemonstratesgood judgment
