Job summary

XL Parts / The Parts House is seeking a Store Stocker to receive and stock automotive parts. You will read orders, move items, and prepare shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, attention to detail, and 0–3 years in a warehouse. Strong computer skills and basic shipping knowledge are preferred; background and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling items.
• 0–3 years in a warehouse or stocking role preferred.
• Good to above-average computer skills for records and shipping.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures is a plus.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Reads customer orders to determine items to move or gather.
• Conveys materials from receiving areas to storage or other areas.
• Sorts items on racks or shelves by size, type, style, color, or code.
• Assembles customer orders and loads pallets or shelves.
• Marks materials with identifying information and opens containers.
• Records quantities received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items to confirm conformance to standards.
• Uses computer to enter records and track shipments.
• Prepares parcels for mailing and shipment via carrier.
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
