• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background check, MVR, drug test, and credit report.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers in selecting parts, suggest companion products, offer specials, and ensure exposure to the full product line.
• Pull parts from stock and determine availability; submit emergency orders as requested by customers.
• Process orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up; manage "will call" and "back order" files weekly.
• Assist service technicians in selecting parts for repairs and open repair order envelopes for new orders.
• Order parts not in stock after consultation with Shop Foremen; notify both the Shop Foreman and customer upon receipt.
• Process charge-outs by verifying technician presents duplicate repair order and parts requisition; file requisition in repair order envelope.
• Issue credits for returned parts with proper invoice verification; ensure charge-back sales are customer-signed.
• Process tax-exempt and cash sales with accurate customer information and account tracking.
• Handle credit card transactions and declined payments in accordance with dealership guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized front and rear counter areas; replenish assigned inventory daily.
