Job summary

Responsibilities include filling parts requests, preparing invoices for over-the-counter sales, maintaining stock levels, updating master parts and price books, and coordinating with outside sales staff to maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One year automotive parts related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prefer experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.

Responsibilities

• Fill parts requirements for customers and mechanics.
• Prepare invoices for over-the-counter sales and house requisitions for issued parts.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels, receiving/shipping parts, and processing local purchase orders.
• Collaborate with outside salesmen to fulfill parts needs and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a neat and organized parts area and price books.
• Enter lost sales into the inventory system to ensure proper item levels.
• Provide information for the Parts Manager on inventory needs.
• Operate a terminal and related equipment to fulfill duties.
