Job summary

Auto-Wares Group in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced Counterperson to assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories. This full-time role requires a friendly, reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service.

You will greet customers, identify needs, explain options, finalize sales, and contribute to store operations. Previous automotive parts knowledge and a valid driver's license are preferred, with a focus

Qualifications

2 years of experience in automotive field.
Customer focused with strong communication.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Pre-employment physical and drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

Be the face of our company by establishing positive experiences with every customer interaction.
Conduct all activities using a customer focused perspective, always providing efficient and accurate expertise.
Finalize sales using methods such as phone calls, in person communication, and more!
Establish a deep knowledge of the parts and services we provide to our customers.
Support our customers’ needs through always offering all product options to our customers and exemplifying our Never Say No values.
Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
Contribute to the store’s daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.
