Job summary

Heiser Automotive Group is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team in Wisconsin. You will help customers and internal departments identify the right parts, provide accurate pricing and information, and support day-to-day parts operations in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, basic automotive knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift parts up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Previous parts or service experience preferred.
• Automotive knowledge preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts is a plus.
• Ability to lift parts and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Valid, clean Wisconsin driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and online
• Help customers and team members identify the correct parts and accessories for their needs
• Provide pricing, product details, availability, and order status updates
• Process parts sales and support inventory management and stock organization
• Locate and source parts from available inventory and outside vendors when needed
• Order parts accurately and in a timely manner
• Partner with the service department to ensure prompt delivery of parts for repairs
• Communicate price quotes, shipment updates, and special-order information clearly and professionally
• Support the parts department with additional duties as needed
