Job summary

Gillman Automotive Group is seeking a reliable Parts Counterperson with at least one year of dealership warehouse experience. You will manage parts inventory, place orders, and assist customers and staff with parts needs in a busy dealership environment.

Responsibilities include handling orders, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with technicians and the service team. A strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of dealership warehouse experience is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the US and pass pre-employment screening (MVR, drug test, background checks).

Responsibilities

• Determine needs and accurately specify parts.
• Create and modify purchase orders.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors to order parts.
• Record warranty parts returned.
• Create special ordered parts and notify relevant staff upon receipt.
• Review special order parts tracking.
• Process and close open invoices.
• Compare invoices against requisitions for quality and quantity.
• Keep records of outside purchases and parts issued.
• Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory.
• Attend weekly department meetings.
