Qualifications

We are looking for a Parts Counter Advisorto joinTeam Hoselton!

This position will support our Retail Parts Department and Chevy Service Department at Hoselton Chevrolet.

  • Full time schedule: Tuesday-Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 earnings range, depending on level of experience
  • Experience: Auto Parts experience in a dealership or other retail/shop setting is preferred

What does aParts Counter Advisordo?

  • Wait on parts customers - wholesale, retail, internal and technicians
  • Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is educated on the full product line
  • Order parts as needed and keep the Service Department and/or customer informed as to when orders arrive or if there are delays in receiving
  • Be friendly, professional and efficient with all customers, both on the phone and in person
  • General maintenance and other parts department needs as requested or required
  • Deliver parts to technicians in the shops as needed
  • Pullparts from storage shelves and placein delivery area for drivers
  • Should be able to lift 40lbs


POSITION SUMMARY

The Parts Advisor Clerk is responsible for supporting the Parts Department staff and operations. Primary objective is to ensure accurate and prompt processing of parts orders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver parts to technicians in the shops as needed
  • Pull parts from storage shelves and placing in delivery area for drivers
  • Parts Advisor Clerk will learn to work with parts catalog
  • Assist in ordering and locating parts
  • Assist in pulling parts to mirror-match body shop orders
  • Help with reconciling purchase orders with invoicing
  • Conduct perpetual inventories by doing regular bin checks
  • Participatein annual Physical Inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
