Job description

We are currently seeking a Parts Coordinator for our Prince George location in BC. We offer competitive wages ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 annually, along with professional development, great benefits, and plenty of opportunity for growth!

The successful candidate will be responsible for parts receiving and returns, and maintaining a well-organized parts room, enabling the efficient flow of vehicles through all stages of repair.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide the highest levels of customer service, both internally and externally, with the goal of continuously improving the customer experience.
  2. Support management of the shop in alignment with The Craftsman Way (TCW).
  3. Use company dashboard to accurately identify and prioritize tasks.
  4. Participate actively in daily production meetings.
  5. Receive and mirror match parts to ensure accuracy in support of the repair plan.
  6. Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.
  7. Use Craftsman Management System to enter parts and sublet invoices, and confirm margins.
  8. Maintain and organize parts carts, staging areas, and parts room in line with The Craftsman Way.
  9. Update parts carts tags in accordance with The Craftsman Way.
  10. Deliver parts to stakeholders as required.
  11. Ensure returns are completed prior to file closure.
  12. Work with the Shop Manager to ensure operations comply with all health, safety, quality, and employment standards.
  13. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  14. Contribute to the goal of closing all files within 24 hours of vehicle delivery.
  15. Support company standards in SPARKLE, safety, and security.
  16. Represent and promote the Craftsman Collision brand positively in all dealings.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  1. At least 1 year of related experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  2. Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is an asset.
  3. Strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
  4. Diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Time management, problem solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
  6. Customer service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficiency in Outlook and willingness to learn new applications.
  8. Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
  9. Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract over the last 3 years.
  10. Legal entitlement to work in Canada without restrictions.
