Job summary

Mastria Automotive is seeking an Automotive Parts Clerk to join our Raynham, MA team. This full-time role focuses on selling parts to customers over the counter, in-store, or by phone, with a strong emphasis on professional service and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. The role offers competitive compensation, health benefits, and growth opportunities within our Mastria Auto Group family.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to customers over the counter, in shop, or by phone.
• Assist customers in selecting required parts professionally and efficiently.
• Inform customers of companion parts and specials and expose full product line.
• Answer phone calls with price quotes and information.
• Pull and fill orders from stock; notify out-of-stock parts and arrange emergency orders.
• Notify service advisor and customer when special ordered parts arrive; bill on repair order.
• Ensure all charge sales are signed and customers receive invoices.
• Issue credits for returned parts with invoice reference.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
• Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
• Notifies service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received. Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer. Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
• Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
