McLaren Boston is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor to join our award-winning team. You will assist customers in selecting parts, price items, and manage orders from inquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ year parts experience in a dealership environment.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication skills with customers, dispatch, and staff.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers in selecting required parts.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials.
• Manage phone calls, provide price quotes and necessary information.
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
• Notify customers when ordered parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
• Responsible for payment transactions and record keeping for all repair orders.
• Replenish inventory daily and set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts and locate out-of-stock parts.
• Participate in training programs to stay current on products.
