Job summary

Caliber Collision in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties in our busy collision center. You will prepare color tint to match paint, mix colors, apply topcoats, cure finishes, and ensure OEM standards for proper sequence, timing, and materials usage.

Strong candidates have 3+ years of painting experience in a collision environment; an Auto Body certificate or ASE refinishing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to competing priorities.
• Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix colors per OEM standards.
• Apply topcoat and ensure proper curing according to OEM specifications.
• Ensure masking is removed and reassembly completed before handing back to the technician.
