Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Painter B to mix and apply epoxy and urethane coatings for exterior surface protection on commercial vehicles and parts. The role emphasizes attention to surface finish and adherence to safety standards.

In this position, you will inspect parts, operate spray equipment, and perform touch-ups while maintaining a clean paint booth and tools. On-site work environment includes varied temperatures and exposure to noise; a starting pay around $20.71

Qualifications

  • Six months related job experience or training.
  • Experience with epoxy/urethane coatings preferred.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all parts and units to be painted.
  • Apply class B and C paint to commercial vehicles and parts.
  • Repair minor flaws and paint defects by wet sanding and buffing.
  • Clean and maintain paint booth.
  • Clean and maintain paint guns.
  • Complete rework as needed.
