Job summary

Caliber Collision in the Dulles area is actively hiring an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, including tinting to match color, mixing paints, and ensuring OEM standards for application sequence, timing and materials is followed, with proper masking and post-paint reassembly before handing the vehicle back to the body technician.

This position requires 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center; an Auto Body certificate or ASE refinishing certification is

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints to ensure formulations meet OEM standards.
• Perform masking, top coating, curing, and ensure all paint operations are complete.
• Disassemble/assemble as needed and return vehicle to body technician after paint is complete.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

OUR AUTOMOTIVE PAINTER FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

• $20.00-$23.00 per Flag Hour!

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
