Job summary

Speed Shop Garage in Pilot Point, TX is seeking an Automotive Painter to join our team. You will work on a variety of vehicles and showcase your painting skills in a collaborative environment.

The role focuses on wet sanding, buffing, detailing, and supporting fleet maintenance. Certification in AFIP or I-CAR is preferred, with knowledge of vAuto and PPG systems a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with suspensions, tune-ups, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency in wet sanding, auto painting, and buffing.
• AFIP and I-CAR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive painting tasks on a variety of vehicles.
• Conduct wet sanding and buffing for smooth finishes.

Are you passionate about automotive painting and looking to join a dynamic team? Speed Shop Garage is seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team in Pilot Point, TX. As an Automotive Painter with us, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and showcase your talents in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Performing automotive painting tasks on a variety of vehicles
• Conducting wet sanding and buffing to ensure a smooth finish
• Completing auto detailing and wheel alignment as needed
• Collaborating with team members on fleet maintenance and general repair projects
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards

Required Skills:

• Experience with suspensions, tune-ups, and hydraulics
• Proficiency in wet sanding, auto painting, and buffing
• AFIP Certified and I-CAR Certification preferred
• Knowledge of automotive repair software such as vAuto and PPG Certified
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
