Job summary

Caliber Collision Summerlin is seeking an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties including tint preparation, paint mixing, top coating, curing per OEM standards, masking, and reassembly before returning the vehicle to the body technician.

Requirements include 3+ years in paint operations at a collision center; an Auto Body certificate or ASE refinishing certification is preferred; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment in Summerlin, NV.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints to formulations.
• Perform masking, prep, top coating and curing per OEM standards.
• Ensure all paint operations are complete and reassembly is done.
• Maintain safety and clean working procedures in a fast-paced shop.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
