Job summary

Caliber Collision in El Paso, TX is seeking an Automotive Painter to perform paint operations in a high-volume collision center. You will prepare color tint, mix paints, apply top coats and ensure all steps meet OEM standards, with masking removed and prior disassembly reassembled before return to the body technician.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience in paint operations at a collision center; Auto Body certificate or ASE/ I-CAR certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints according to formulations and OEM standards.
• Perform masking, top coating, curing and ensure proper assembly after painting.
• Maintain compliance with OEM standards for application sequence, timing and materials usage.
• Return vehicle to body technician after completing paint operations.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
