Job summary

Caliber Collision in Ladson is hiring an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties related to paint operations. Responsibilities include tinting and mixing paints, following OEM standards for application, and ensuring proper reassembly before handing back to the body technician.

Requirements include 3+ years of paint experience in a collision center; an Auto Body certificate or ASE refinishing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, estimates and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints.
• Ensure all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet OEM standards.
• Disassemble/assemble vehicle parts as needed and return vehicle to body technician.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
