Job summary

Caliber Collision in Carson City, NV is seeking an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties related to paint operations. The role requires preparation, tinting, color matching, mixing, masking, top coating, and curing to OEM standards.

You will ensure all paint work is completed with proper disassembly reassembled before handing back to the body technician. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision from day one, weekly pay, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for paid

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.

• Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints to OEM specifications.
• Ensure formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet OEM standards.
• Perform masking removal and reassembly of paint-related disassemblies.
• Follow proper application sequence, timing and material usage.

Service Center Carson City JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

OUR AUTOMOTIVE PAINTER FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO: $26.00-$30.00

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
