Tharp Consulting is seeking a Packaging Developer to design and manage custom packaging solutions for automotive parts between suppliers and manufacturing facilities. You will use 3D software to design, evaluate, and secure stakeholder buy‑in.

This role involves project management to create cost‑effective packaging, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring guidelines compliance, documenting changes, and troubleshooting issues to support mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.
• 0-6 years of relevant engineering experience, with strong technical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate packaging designs, utilizing 3D software to make strategic decisions and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Lead project management efforts to create cost‑effective, simplified packaging solutions that meet operational needs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for feedback, ensure compliance with guidelines, and document change points and development processes.
• troubleshoot packaging issues impacting mass production and validate design effectiveness.
