Job summary
The C-P-S Group in Greenville, SC, is seeking an experienced packaging professional to lead the development of packaging concepts and prototypes for automotive projects. You will independently plan charge carriers according to logistics and manufacturing requirements, and specify technical requirements for prototype acceptance.
You will coordinate with technical departments, process partners and suppliers, and assist Technical Purchasing with procurement processes and packaging project
Qualifications
- Extensive automotive packaging experience.
- Experience in packaging planning and special packaging.
- Experience with container construction in industrial projects.
- Proficiency with Catia V5 or SolidWorks preferred.
- Fluent business English and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Create packaging concepts and prototypes for returnable and expendable containers in automotive manufacturing.
- Plan charge carriers independently according to logistics and manufacturing needs.
- Specify technical requirements and prototype acceptance.
- Coordinate and monitor with technical departments, process partners and suppliers.
- Support Technical Purchasing with procurement processes and packaging project documentation.
