• Working knowledge of dealership financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dealership financial statements on schedule.
• Interpret and analyze dealership financial statements.
• Approve adjustments to inventory, COS and expense accounts.
• Process payroll and administer payroll policies.
• Coordinate and prepare reconciliations for all accounts and physical inventories.
• Automate all possible systems and establish controls.
• Maintain and post monthly standard entries.
• Work with office staff to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Reconcile all accounts prior to month end.
• Assist in completion of annual reviews and audits.
• Complete end-of-month accounting reports as assigned.
• Prepare a daily cash report.
• Set up and maintain accruals for expenses.
• Run and review expense trend reports monthly.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
