Job summary

RAPA is seeking a Development Engineer for Model-Based Application Software (m/f/d) in Selb, Germany. You will work on model-based development of application software components that communicate with base software via the AUTOSAR RTE, and map state machines using Stateflow in Simulink.

The role involves code generation with Simulink Coder/Embedded Coder, coordinating with base software and hardware teams, and verifying the generated software. German and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in EE, electronics, or CS with focus on control engineering.
Very good MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow skills; knowledge of Simulink Coder/Embedded Coder; AUTOSAR Blockset ideal.
Knowledge of field-oriented control of electric machines desirable.
Good knowledge of AUTOSAR interfaces (Ports/RTE) and base software integration.
Structured, independent work style and ability to work well in a team.
Business-level German and good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Model-based development of application software components communicating with base software via AUTOSAR RTE.
Mapping state machines using Stateflow and control algorithms in Simulink models.
Code generation using Simulink Coder/Embedded Coder with AUTOSAR Blockset and RTE interfaces.
Coordinate with base software and hardware development regarding interfaces and machine characteristics.
Verification and testing of the generated application software.
