Job summary

SOS Auto Glass & Calibration seeks a skilled Glass Technician in Missouri to install, repair, and replace automotive glass while restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with teammates to ensure safety, precision, and exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.

The role requires familiarity with auto glass tools and techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Glass Technician or in automotive repair preferred.
• Knowledge of auto glass tools, installation techniques, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform glass installation, repair, and replacement (windshields, side, and rear glass) in line with safety and OEM standards.
• Inspect damage and determine the best repair or replacement approach.
• Safely remove and handle damaged glass, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Apply adhesives, primers, and molding with precision to meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with estimators, body technicians, and painters to maintain repair quality and workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
• Document completed work accurately and assist with parts tracking as needed.
• Provide outstanding service by communicating clearly and respectfully with customers and teammates.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in shop and outdoor environments.
