Job summary

Jobtailor in Maryland seeks an entry-level automotive technician to learn diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the supervision of an experienced technician. You will gain hands-on experience and build confidence as a mobile technician serving a wide range of vehicle manufacturers.

You will use computerized diagnostic equipment, factory diagnostic software, and standard tools while following OE specifications and repair standards in a production-shop setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company’s insurance policy.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background and MVR checks.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
• Ability to perform physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Understand written and verbal instructions.
• Prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Previous automotive experience is nice to have, but not required.
