Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diagnostic Apprentice Technician to join our service team. You’ll receive mentorship and hands-on training to learn diagnostic and mechanical repairs under an experienced technician’s supervision.

You’ll work across a range of vehicles, performing repairs in the field and following OE specifications and repair standards while building confidence as a mobile technician. This entry-level role offers paid training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under supervision.
• Work with OE specifications and repair standards.
• Provide mobile service to customers as part of the field team.

As a Protech Diagnostic Apprentice Technician you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the supervision of an experienced technician. You will gain confidence as an automotive mobile technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Performing repairs to vehicles by following OE specifications and repair standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWNLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast‑paced environment
