Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions seeks a Mobile Diagnostic Technician to apply technical knowledge to diagnose vehicles and support Autel scanning units. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, respond to customer questions, and research issues to resolve complex vehicle problems.

The role requires 2+ years' diagnostic experience, and ASE/I-CAR certifications are preferred. You will work with cutting-edge repair products and contribute to delivering top-tier service to our customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostics technician.
• I-CAR and ASE certifications preferred.
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to complete job duties.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers and diagnose issues.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Explain and resolve vehicle technology issues related to scanning procedures.

Job Summary

Protech Automotive Solutions has an immediate job opening for a Mobile Diagnostic Technician to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Applies technical knowledge to assist customers, answers inbound and outbound phone calls in support of Autel scanning unit, answers technical questions relating to the scanning procedures of the Autel unit, conducts research to understand, explain, and resolve technology issues on the vehicle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician required; I-CAR & ASE certifications preferred
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge

• Minimum age requirement of 21+ years.
• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
