Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician for its MAS operations. You will perform diagnostic testing, ADAS calibrations, and wiring repairs while communicating effectively with the shop team and customers. You’ll also manage service invoices and inventory to ensure smooth operations.

This full-time role in a structured shop environment offers paid time off, insurance options, and a 401(k) plan. Relevant ADAS and automotive experience preferred.

  • Experience with automotive diagnostics and repair.
  • Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures.
  • Ability to read repair estimates and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply, including individuals with disabilities and Protected Veterans.Key Job Responsibilities:Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repairPerforms diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysisPerforms wiring repairsAdvises shop of needed repairsKeeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receiptsWrites, prints and emails service invoicesCollects signature or payment for work performedDelivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly mannerKeeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to dateCollaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobsOther duties, as assignedPreferred Skills/Experience:Knowledge of OE scan toolsAbility to learn new tools as neededKnowledge of wiring repair proceduresAbility to service A/C systemsPossesses diagnostic skills in the automotive tradeBasic computer knowledge including using email, spreadsheet and messaging systemsWilling and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications and the likeMust possess high school degree or GED equivalent4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience requiredPlease note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
