Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician in Slidell, LA. Primary duties include customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, ADAS calibrations, diagnostic testing, and invoicing.

You will maintain inventory, coordinate with support staff, and ensure timely delivery of invoices. The role requires 4+ years’ automotive/electronic technician experience, knowledge of OE scan tools, and ability to service A/C systems. Pay ranges 60k-95k, full-time, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive/electronic technician experience.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools.
• Ability to learn new tools as needed.
• Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets).
• Willingness to update knowledge through training.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Determine testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviewing repair estimates.
• Perform diagnostic testing, ADAS calibrations, and analysis.
• Perform wiring repairs.
• Advise shop of needed repairs.
• Maintain stock inventory and coordinate orders with support staff.
• Generate and email service invoices; collect payments.
• Deliver completed invoices and payments to office.
• Keep shop equipment operating and maintain supplies.
• Collaborate with teammates to schedule and complete jobs.
• Follow PPT guidelines and assist with other duties as assigned.
