Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation’s Wickliffe facility seeks an Automotive Mechanical Test Technician to operate and maintain a range of test stands for engines, axles, and transmissions. You will document results, troubleshoot equipment, and uphold safety while contributing to innovative mobility solutions.

You’ll work in a on-site environment with multiple shifts, collaborating with a team of technicians to support continuous testing and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive/mechanical testing in work or education.
• Able to use hand tools and precision measurement devices.
• Familiar with engine/driveline terminology and safe work practices.
• Strong documentation and math skills are required.
• Proficiency with MS Office for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical test stands for engines and driveline components.
• Troubleshoot issues with lab equipment and test stands.
• Document testing data clearly and promptly.
• Maintain safe, clean test cells and adhere to PPE requirements.
• Support shift operations and coordinate with engineers and support groups.
