Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or related field.
• 0–2+ years of experience in mechanical design or related area.
• Experience with manufacturing processes a plus.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.
• Collaborates with engineers to implement procedures and resolve issues.
• Evaluates design proposals for feasibility, cost, and maintenance needs.
• Supports manufacturing of prototype and pre-production products.
• Prepares vehicle fit reports and product trend analyses.
• Coordinates with Manufacturing, Test, Electrical Engineering and QA to solve problems.
