Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in the Scranton, PA area is seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive services to keep customers safely on the road, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or training.
• Must be able to perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair tasks.
• Must provide personal tools necessary for automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs (brakes, suspension, steering).
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs and perform oil/ fluids checks.
• Replace worn parts and complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, balance tires and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Adhere to Mavis quality, safety, and customer service standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and career growth opportunities.
