Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic to join Team Mavis in the Nanuet, NY area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a range of automotive services, including brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes, and tire work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Conduct undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Perform state inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
