Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking an Automotive Mechanic / Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll train and mentor teammates, keep a safe, organized workspace, and stay up to date with evolving vehicle tech.

The role requires at least 6 months of automotive repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work various shifts, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of automotive repair or mechanical experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• State Inspection License (if applicable) and Section 609 Certification preferred.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignment.
• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire services, etc.).
• Explain repair needs and technical information to customers and teammates.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new vehicle technologies.
• Support fellow technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
