Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking an Automotive Mechanic/Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll train and mentor team members, keep your work area safe and organized, and stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of automotive repair or mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• 609 Certification preferred; State Inspection License may apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignment.
• Explain repair needs and technical information to customers and teammates.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new vehicle technologies.
• Support fellow technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures.
