Job summary

CarGuys Inc. is seeking automotive technicians at all levels to connect with top-paying dealerships and repair facilities across the U.S. and Canada.

The role offers up to $150,000+ per year with signing bonuses and performance-based incentives and features modern shops with advanced diagnostic tools. We provide paid training including EV and diagnostic training, ASE certification support, and clear paths to Master Technician and Shop Foreman roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive technician, auto mechanic, service technician, or auto tech.
• All experience levels considered, including entry-level and master technicians.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Personal tools required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repair and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, and drivability systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Handle warranty repairs, recall repairs, and dealership service work.
• Maintain high-quality standards as an automotive technician or service technician.

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / AUTO MECHANIC RESPONSIBILITIES

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN SKILLS (AUTO MECHANIC / SERVICE TECHNICIAN)

Automotive technician skills include automotive diagnostics, auto repair, and vehicle maintenance across gasoline and diesel engines, engine repair, engine performance, and tune-ups. Experience with automatic transmission, manual transmission, drivetrain and axle repair, suspension and steering systems, brake repair, electrical systems, and electronic diagnostics is required. Skilled in HVAC systems, vehicle troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostic scan tools.

Experience performing automotive service technician duties in dealership service departments or independent repair shops, including warranty repair, recall repair, and vehicle inspections. ASE certification in engine repair, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and engine performance is strongly preferred.
