Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring Automotive Mechanics / Certified Safety Inspectors in the Chesapeake, VA area. This full-time role offers guaranteed base pay plus weekly bonuses and a $10 commission for every state inspection, with full on-site duties including tire work, oil changes, and safety inspections.

You should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, teamwork, and meeting service timelines. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of one year of automotive experience or completion of an approved training program.
• Possess a Virginia driver's license and a Virginia Safety Inspector license (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform state inspections and undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks).
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Dismount/mount/balance tires and ensure timely service delivery.
