Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in Rochester, NY is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, and perform a range of maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• Preferred: State inspection licenses and ASE certifications including G1, A4, and A5.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections, where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
